Bilkent University is launching a Science Caf\u00e9 event series. The first event will take place on Saturday, February 21, at 2 p.m., featuring a talk by Prof. Tayfun \u00d6z\u00e7elik, chair of the Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics, titled \u201cFostering a Culture of Creativity in Science.\u201d The event will be held at the Do\u011fan Ta\u015fdelen Contemporary Arts Center, \u00c7ankaya Municipality. The talk will explore how creativity fuels scientific discovery and will offer an engaging forum for direct dialogue between scientists and the public. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Under the leadership of the Council of Higher Education (Y\u00d6K), Science Caf\u00e9 events are being organized across T\u00fcrkiye by university communication offices to bring science beyond university campuses and into public spaces. These events aim to ensure that scientific knowledge is not confined to academic circles and to provide accessible settings where scientists can share their work with the broader community. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
