We are deeply saddened to announce that Dr. Talat \u015eenocak, one of the most beloved members of the Department of Economics and an alumnus (MATH BS \u201906, ECON MA \u201909, PhD \u201925), passed away on Sunday, March 1, 2026. We wish to extend our condolences to the \u015eenocak family, his students, friends and the entire Bilkent community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
