Six Bilkent faculty members have received the Distinguished Young Scientist (BAGEP) awards for 2026. The awards are given by the Science Academy Association (Bilim Akademisi), established in 2011 \u201cto promote, practice and uphold the principles of scientific merit, freedom and integrity.\u201d The objective of the BAGEP program is to recognize highly promising young scientists and assist them in furthering their investigations. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The awardees are: Asst. Prof. \u00c7a\u011flayan Ba\u015fer (Department of International Relations), Asst. Prof. \u00d6zlem Tu\u011ffe Demir (Department of Electrical \u2013 Electronics Engineering), Asst. Prof. Alireza Fatollahi (Department of Philosophy), Asst. Prof. Enis Kaya (Department of Mathematics), Asst. Prof. Alexander Paul Moran (Department of Philosophy), Asst. Prof. Zahide Pamir Karatok (Department of Psychology). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The BAGEP 2026 Awards Ceremony will be held on Saturday, April 18. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
