The\u00a0SustainFest\u00a0will be held on April 8 and 16, at the\u00a0Mayfest\u00a0Area and C-Block Auditorium. The event aims to raise awareness about sustainability, waste\u00a0management\u00a0and eco-friendly practices.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A wide range of activities will be offered both days, including sports activities, Radio\u00a0Bilkent\u00a0live\u00a0broadcasts\u00a0and music performances such as the \u0130DV High School Music Performance. Visitors can\u00a0participate\u00a0in improvisational acting exercises, tango performances, Tai Chi\u00a0sessions\u00a0and breathing and meditation activities.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The festival also features numerous workshops and stands focusing on sustainability, including upcycling with waste materials, zero-waste kitchen practices, recycling-based art activities and a carbon footprint quiz. Attendees can explore food and drink stands as well as company booths promoting sustainable products and practices. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Opening and sustainability talks will be delivered by Rector Prof. K\u00fcr\u015fat Aydo\u011fan and Prof. Yasemin Afacan, providing insights into Bilkent University’s sustainability initiatives. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
