{"id":10709,"date":"2026-04-13T23:08:20","date_gmt":"2026-04-13T20:08:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/bilkentnews.bilkent.edu.tr\/?p=10709"},"modified":"2026-04-14T10:00:43","modified_gmt":"2026-04-14T07:00:43","slug":"bilkent-hosts-first-fada-fest","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/bilkentnews.bilkent.edu.tr\/?p=10709","title":{"rendered":"Bilkent\u00a0Hosts First FADA Fest\u00a0"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The Faculty of Art, Design and Architecture held its first FADA Fest on April 6\u201310.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The festival brought together students,&nbsp;academics&nbsp;and professionals through a program of workshops, talks,&nbsp;screenings&nbsp;and exhibitions held across the&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>F Buildings. Participants attended sessions on topics such as podcasting, modern Turkish architecture, contemporary art and AI in design, alongside hands-on workshops in collage, ceramics, printmaking, cyanotype and wearable art. Retrospective screenings from the PASO Film Festival and a Dolby&nbsp;Atmos&nbsp;listening experience were also included in the program.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Events during the week featured activities such as a collage workshop, mono printing, drawing sessions, artist talks and discussions on media and design. Two exhibitions, \u201cAnkara Postcards: One City, A Thousand Memories\u201d and the IAED Distinguished Works Exhibition, remained open throughout the festival.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On April 9\u201310, Career Incubation Days were held as part of the festival program. During these two days, industry representatives met with students through talks, panels and company stands, offering networking opportunities and insight into various creative fields.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Commenting on the festival, FADA Dean Prof.&nbsp;Yasemin&nbsp;Afacan&nbsp;said, \u201cWith the support of our members of Strategic Planning and Career Incubation Committees, we successfully realized our first FADA Fest. It was truly inspiring to see such energy across our buildings.
