Berire \u00dc\u00e7p\u0131nar, a senior student at the Faculty of Law, and her team \u201cRock\u2019n Law\u201d were awarded the \u201cSpecial Jury Prize\u201d at the \u201cLaw-a-thon\u201d competition, organized by ELSA \u0130stanbul and hosted by \u0130stanbul Bilgi University.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As part of the competition, the team developed an innovative software solution aimed at preventing corporate \u201cgreenwashing\u201d risks. The system evaluates companies\u2019 environmental claims from the perspectives of Turkish law and comparative law while analyzing potential legal violations, administrative sanctions and litigation processes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
