UNAM Asst. Prof. Fatih \u0130nci was awarded the 2025 \u0130stanbul Technical University (\u0130T\u00dc) Science Award.
Dr. \u0130nci received the award in the Fundamental Sciences category, in which he was recognized for his contributions to fundamental sciences through interdisciplinary research and the development of diagnostic technologies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Dr. \u0130nci\u2019s research at UNAM (Bilkent University National Nanotechnology Research Center) focuses on point-of-care diagnostic tests, biosensors, microfluidic systems, extracellular vesicles, and microneedle technologies, as well as their clinical applications. The low-cost, rapid, and highly sensitive diagnostic platforms he has developed through UNAM\u2019s strong infrastructure and scientific expertise, are currently being used in the early detection of infectious diseases, cancer, and other major health conditions. His work has directly impacted millions of lives by offering accessible solutions to address global health inequalities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
