The jury based its decision on Dr. \u00d6zer\u2019s success in reconstructing the fragmented and scattered nature of human existence through an original world of imagery. Her work was recognized for moving poetry beyond a distanced form of text-making into what the jury called an \u201carchaeology of the self \u201d that traces fragilities and hidden lives. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
