Ahsen K\u00fc\u00e7\u00fckdurmaz, director of the Physical Education and Sports Center, recently represented Bilkent University at the FISU World Forum 2026 in \u00d6stersund, Sweden. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The forum brought together more than 160 participants from 44 countries, including representatives of universities, national university sports federations and the international university sports community. Throughout the forum, participants exchanged knowledge and experiences on university sport, student well-being, Healthy Campus development, sustainability and student engagement. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
As part of the forum, Bilkent University\u2019s Healthy Campus practices were presented through a poster highlighting the university\u2019s work in physical activity and sport, mental health and well-being, healthy lifestyle, sustainability and environment, and student engagement. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
K\u00fc\u00e7\u00fckdurmaz also participated in a parallel session on the FISU Healthy Campus Program, one of several sessions and laboratory visits that were held simultaneously. As an FISU Healthy Campus Gold-certified university, Bilkent shared its experience and good practices while engaging with representatives from universities and university sports organizations from around the world. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
