The Faculty of Art, Design and Architecture (FADA) is celebrating its 40th anniversary with \u201cIntersections\u201d (\u201cKesi\u015fimler\u201d), an exhibition on view at CerModern in Ankara from September 29 to October 7. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Founded in 1986 as one of Bilkent University\u2019s first faculties, FADA comprises the Departments of Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Interior Architecture and Environmental Design, Communication and Design, Urban Design and Landscape Architecture, and Architecture. The exhibition brings together works from all six, spanning different generations, disciplines and creative practices. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIntersections\u201d features selected works by the faculty\u2019s graduates and academics\u2014among them Haluk Akak\u00e7e, Bedri Baykam, Engin \u00d6nc\u00fco\u011flu, Meltem \u015eahin and Ardan \u00d6zmeno\u011flu\u2014ranging from earlier periods to the present, alongside projects, publications, documents, archival materials and new works. Rather than presenting the faculty\u2019s history as a single linear narrative, the exhibition follows creative trajectories that intersect, diverge and reconverge over time, as well as the intellectual, professional and personal relationships formed within the faculty that continue beyond graduation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
