Asst. Prof. Kemal Y\u0131ld\u0131z of the Department of Economics has been recognized by the Scientific and Technical Research Council of Turkey (T\u00dcB\u0130TAK).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Dr. Y\u0131ld\u0131z received a 2022 T\u00dcB\u0130TAK Incentive Award for his outstanding work in the field of economic theory in the areas of game theory and mechanism design, boundedly rational choice and fair assignments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The T\u00dcB\u0130TAK Incentive Award is given to scientists under the age of 40 who have demonstrated the potential to provide outstanding contributions to science at an international level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Dr. Y\u0131ld\u0131z graduated from the Department of Economics at Bilkent University in 2006. He wrote his master\u2019s thesis in the same department under the supervision of Prof. Semih Koray in 2008. After completing his PhD studies under the supervision of Prof. Ariel Rubinstein at New York University in 2013, he joined Bilkent University\u2019s Department of Economics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Dr. Y\u0131ld\u0131z, who received Marie Curie research support from the European Union in 2019 for his joint studies with Princeton University, was also a 2020 recipient of the Academy of Science Young Scientists Award (BAGEP).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
