What do you like best about Turkey?<\/strong>
The people! In Eastern Europe people are usually running to meet deadlines and finish chores, but here I feel like there is an open vibe that makes people enjoy the moment and not run all the time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Are there any similarities between Turkey and your home country?<\/strong>
I guess the main similarity is the attitude everyone has around overcoming challenges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What will you miss most about Bilkent\/Turkey?<\/strong>
I will miss its nature, especially autumn in Bilkent. Everything is so untouched and unique, and the colors are so vibrant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What\u2019s your favorite place on campus, and why?<\/strong>
My favorite place on campus would be the forest road near Bilkent Lake. Sometimes I pass by at nighttime and just enjoy the sounds and the sky filled with stars.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What\u2019s your favorite Turkish food and\/or favorite part of Turkish culture?<\/strong>
I am a vegan so Turkish food is a bit difficult for me to consume, but I enjoy most of the desserts. My favorite is Turkish ice cream.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Where do you expect to see yourself 10 years from now?<\/strong>
I see myself settling down somewhere where it suits me in the sense of emotional fulfillment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What\u2019s the hardest challenge you\u2019ve handled in Turkey?<\/strong>
As with most international students, it is the language barrier. It has been a bit hard to find Turkish friends who are not hesitant to open up in English. I have only been studying Turkish for about a year so my communication skills in this language are not that great.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What places have you visited in Turkey, and which one is your favorite?<\/strong>
I have visited a lot of places in Turkey since I traveled here numerous times before coming for an exchange program. I have visited almost every city in the Southern parts of Turkey and now I am planning to go to the East as well. My favorite until now has been Cappadocia because I can remember every single feeling and memory. When I was there, at some point the world stopped and everyone was staring at the balloons. I really enjoyed that moment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What\u2019s an interesting question or comment you hear frequently at Bilkent\/in Turkey?<\/strong>
I usually hear that Bilkent is hard and that I will be overwhelmed, but I have not found that to be the case.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
