{"id":3981,"date":"2023-02-06T13:47:00","date_gmt":"2023-02-06T13:47:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/bilkentnews.bilkent.edu.tr\/?p=3981"},"modified":"2023-02-07T14:41:09","modified_gmt":"2023-02-07T14:41:09","slug":"gra-student-exhibition-opens-at-cermodern","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/bilkentnews.bilkent.edu.tr\/?p=3981","title":{"rendered":"GRA Student Exhibition Opens at CerModern"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The Department of Graphic Design has organized a new exhibition by third-year students, \u201cExperimental Typography Movie Posters.\u201d The exhibition opened on February 2 at CerModern\u2019s Hub Art Space and will be on display until February 12.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The works in the exhibit resulted from an experimental typography project that focused on the exploration of type and typographic forms to convey meaning. Using unconventional materials, textures and scan\/print techniques, each student in last semester\u2019s GRA301 Graphic Design Studio course produced a typographic representation of a film of their choice. Course instructors were Ekin K\u0131l\u0131\u00e7 Ezer and At\u0131l Kurttekin.
