Prof. \u00c7a\u011fla \u00d6kten), examines the impact of recent changes in education policies on education and labor market outcomes in Turkey. Dr. Demirel Dereba\u015fo\u011flu is currently working as a consultant with the World Bank, Ankara.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dr. Akbal\u2019s thesis, \u201cNonlinearities in Macroeconomic Policy\u201d (supervisor: Asst. Prof. Sang Seok Lee), explores nonlinear approaches in large-scale macroeconomic models, with a particular focus on monetary policy, and analyzes the effectiveness of nonlinear applications.
