Three early short plays written by Eugene O\u2019Neill premiered on May 5 in the Faculty of Music and Performing Arts Theater Hall.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Directed by Jason Hale, chair of the Department of Performing Arts, the production is being staged by the Department of Performing Arts students as a senior project. Performances will run through
June 1.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Newly translated into Turkish by Bora Uzunboy, these three early short plays, \u201cThe Pincer,\u201d \u201cBefore Breakfast\u201d and \u201cAbortion,\u201d feature people of all classes and show them at their most vulnerable.
The remaining performances of the play will take place on May 18 and 25 and June 1 at 8 p.m. in the FMPA Theater Hall.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cast members are Nevin Ece Akkaya, Erk \u015eekercio\u011flu, G\u00f6k\u00e7e Ta\u015ftan, Ege Tolga, Ferhan Vural, Orkan Ayd\u0131n, Yusuf Ard\u0131l Z\u00fcmr\u00fct, Esat Mert Do\u011fan, Can Do\u011fa Pat\u0131r, guest players Sinan Pekinton (instructor at THEA) and S\u00fckun I\u015f\u0131tan (THEA 93\u2019).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Poster design is by Birsu \u00c7eltek (instructor at GRA), set design by \u00d6zlem Gezgin, lighting by Y\u0131lmaz Ertekin, and the director assistant is Haydar \u00d6zkan. The technical team is Burak Topta\u015f, Elif Ekizo\u011flu and Ya\u011fmur Demir.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
