Visitors from all over Turkey had the opportunity to meet and exchange information with more than 30 associations and societies, such as the Society for Women in Philosophy in Turkey, Turkish Kant Society, Evrim A\u011fac\u0131, the Turkish Philosophy Foundation and the Turkish Logic Association. The festival area also included a philosophical visuals exhibit, including the winners of the PhilFest Generative AI Philosophical Image Contest.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"alignleft size-full is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/bilkentnews.bilkent.edu.tr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/IBR_0745-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5098\" width=\"500\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/bilkentnews.bilkent.edu.tr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/IBR_0745-1.jpg 1000w, https:\/\/bilkentnews.bilkent.edu.tr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/IBR_0745-1-300x180.jpg 300w, https:\/\/bilkentnews.bilkent.edu.tr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/IBR_0745-1-768x461.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p>PhilFest\u201923 started with a speech by Rector Prof. K\u00fcr\u015fat Aydo\u011fan, followed by talks on Thinking Philosophy as a Woman (Fulden \u0130brahimhakk\u0131o\u011flu and Toros G\u00fcne\u015f Esg\u00fcn), Video Games and the Ethics of the Digital World (Erhan Demircio\u011flu), Philosophical Wanderlust: Non-Western Philosophies (Pelin Dilara \u00c7olak), Bilkent Philosophy Student Acitivities, God as the Source of Morality (Enis Doko and Tufan K\u0131ymaz) and Social and Political Epistemology in the Information Age (\u00d6mer Ayg\u00fcn and Yurdag\u00fcl K\u0131l\u0131n\u00e7).<br>Prizes were then awarded in critical thinking and philosophical trivia.
