Prof. M. Selim Akt\u00fcrk has been named a 2023 fellow of INFORMS, the largest association for decision and data sciences. As one of the most prestigious honors in the operations research (OR) profession, INFORMS annually recognizes fellows for their outstanding lifetime accomplishments and contributions to operations research and analytics. The 2023 INFORMS fellows will be inducted during the 2023 INFORMS annual meeting, Oct. 15\u201318, in Phoenix, AZ.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Prof. Akt\u00fcrk is the first recipient of the INFORMS Fellow Award from a Turkish University. He is currently a professor in the Department of Industrial Engineering and serves as the Interim Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration at Bilkent University.
