The 2023 \u0130hsan Do\u011framac\u0131 Memorial Lecture, \u201cFive Wonders of the Quantum World,\u201d will be held on Wednesday, November 15 at the \u0130hsan and Ayser Do\u011framac\u0131 Science, Culture and Art Center. The lecture will be given by Prof. Thors Hans Hansson of Stockholm University and the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Prof. Hansson is a distinguished scientist who made seminal contributions to Quantum Chromo Dynamics, the theory of strong force, and Chern-Simons theory. He served as a member of the Nobel Committee for Physics and was the director of Nordita, the Nordic Institute for Theoretical Physics. He is a member of the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
