The ETH Medal is awarded by the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Z\u00fcrich (ETH Zurich) to outstanding master\u2019s and doctoral theses.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The number of bestowals is capped to 2.5 percent of master\u2019s theses and eight percent of doctoral theses per field of study.
