The Media Literacy and Disinformation Conference, which will focus on the issue of disinformation in the media, will be held on February 7 at C-Block Auditorium. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The conference, hosted by the European Union Delegation to T\u00fcrkiye in cooperation with Bilkent University, will bring together experts, fact-checkers, journalists, academics, digital platform representatives and stakeholders to discuss effective strategies to promote media literacy and combat disinformation. Renowned historian Prof. Emrah Safa G\u00fcrkan (IR \u201903, HIST MA \u201906) will deliver the keynote speech, and three panel discussions, \u201cWhy Do We Need Media Literacy?\u201d, \u201cWhat is the Role of Artificial Intelligence?\u201d and \u201cCan We Win the Fight?\u201d will follow. At the end of the conference, participating students will be given a certificate of participation by the European Union Delegation to T\u00fcrkiye. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
