This year marks the 60th anniversary of the celebration, and this year\u2019s theme is \u201cSustainability and Advocacy.\u201d Running from <strong>March 25<\/strong> to<strong> 31<\/strong>, during the Library Week, a series of engaging events will take place at the Main Campus Library, including the Surprise User Event, the Reader\u2019s Theater, \u201cIs It Enough to Think Big to Be Great?\u201d webinar, a panel discussion on university libraries, and the celebration of The Reader of the Year.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As part of the celebrations for the 60th annual Library Week, Bilkent University Library, in collaboration with the University and Research Librarians\u2019 Association (\u00dcNAK),&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>will host a panel titled \u201cThe Contribution of University Libraries to T\u00fcrkiye\u2019s Academic Outcomes and Evaluation of Our Universities on&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>the 100th Anniversary of our Republic.\u201d The event, scheduled to take place on <strong>Thursday, March 28<\/strong>, between <strong>2 p.m. and 5 p.m.<\/strong>, aims to delve into the contributions of university libraries to the academic landscape of Turkey, particularly in light of the longstanding tradition of Library Week.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Further details regarding the panel program and additional events and activities during Library Week are available on the library&#8217;s webpage: <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/library.bilkent.edu.tr\/library-week-activities\/\">https:\/\/library.bilkent.edu.tr\/library-week-activities\/<\/a>&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u201cLibrary Week\u201d is an annual event in Turkey dedicated to celebrating the significance of libraries and promoting literacy and reading culture throughout the country.
