The awards are given by the Science Academy Association (Bilim Akademisi), established in 2011 \u201cto promote, practice and uphold the principles of scientific merit, freedom and integrity.\u201d The objective of the BAGEP program is to recognize highly promising young scientists and assist them in furthering their investigations.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Bilkent awardees are: Asst. Prof. P\u0131nar \u00c7a\u011flayan Aksoy (Faculty of Law), Asst. Prof. Ay\u015feg\u00fcl D\u00fcndar Boral (Department of Computer Engineering), Asst. Prof. Se\u00e7il G\u00f6n\u00fclta\u015f (Department of Psychology), Asst. Prof. Jonathan Payton (Department of Philosophy), Asst. Prof. C\u00fcneyt \u015eahin (UNAM) and Assoc.
