\u00d6yk\u00fc Terzio\u011flu \u00d6zer, a graduate of the Department of Turkish Literature, was recently awarded third place in the miniature painting category at the 5th International D\u00e2r\u00fcm\u00fclk Islamic Arts Competition, organized by the Municipality of Konya. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u00d6zer, who completed her master\u2019s thesis under the guidance of the late Tal\u00e2t Halman and Hilmi Yavuz, focused her research on \u201cN\u00e2z\u0131m Hikmet and His Anti-Colonialist Poetics,\u201d which was later published as a book. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
In addition to her accomplishments in the field of literature, \u00d6zer has also taught at Bilkent University.
