I was impressed by how modern and traditional elements blend seamlessly together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n What do you like best about Bilkent and T\u00fcrkiye?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n At Bilkent, I love the academic environment, as strenuous as it is, and the diversity of students. In Turkey, I enjoy the friendliness of the people, the food, and the breathtaking landscapes as well as the vibrant history.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Are there any similarities between T\u00fcrkiye and your home country?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Yes, there are similarities in hospitality and the importance of family. Both cultures also share a love for flavorful food and tea! The tavuk pilav here and biryani in Pakistan are exactly the same.<\/p>\n\n\n\n What will you miss most about Bilkent\/T\u00fcrkiye?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n I will miss the friendships I\u2019ve made here, the loves of my life, Nasheet and G\u00f6rkem, and the opportunity to explore such a unique and beautiful country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n What\u2019s your favorite place on campus, and why?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n My favorite place on campus is the library. It\u2019s peaceful, and I love the vibe there for studying and brainstorming and picturing a better Arifwala while sitting in the library is my favorite timepass. Arifwala is my hometown in Pakistan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n What\u2019s your favorite Turkish food and why?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n I love \u0130skender kebab. The combination of flavors from the meat, sauce, and yogurt is incredible!<\/p>\n\n\n\n Where do you expect to see yourself 10 years from now?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n In 10 years, I see myself working in a leadership position in marketing or analytics, hopefully contributing to innovative projects on a global scale or back in Arifwala working in real estate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n What\u2019s one thing you learned from Turkish culture?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n I\u2019ve learned the value of slowing down and enjoying moments, especially during meals or tea breaks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n What places have you visited in T\u00fcrkiye, and which one is your favorite?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n I\u2019ve visited \u0130stanbul, \u0130zmir, and Antalya. \u0130zmir my favorite for its unique landscape and beautiful weather.<\/p>\n\n\n\n What\u2019s an interesting question or comment you hear frequently at Bilkent\/in T\u00fcrkiye?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cDo you eat spicy food every day in Pakistan?\u201d It\u2019s always amusing to answer!<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cYou look Turkish how are you not?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n Describe yourself in three words.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Ambitious, adaptable, and curious.<\/p>\n\n\n\n How is the studying experience at Bilkent?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n It\u2019s been challenging yet rewarding.
