Library Week in T\u00fcrkiye is an annual event dedicated to celebrating the importance of libraries and promoting literacy and reading culture across the country. This year marks the 61st anniversary of the celebration, with the theme \u201cProductive Libraries.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n
As part of the celebrations, Bilkent University Library will host three events. On Tuesday, April 8 from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m., the Art Gallery will host a seminar titled \u201cProductive Bilkent,\u201d featuring faculty members from various departments: Vis. Prof. Burak \u00d6z\u00e7etin, UNAM Asst. Prof. Urartu \u015eeker, Assoc. Prof. Ahmet \u015eensoy and Asst. Prof. Burcu Ay\u015fen \u00dcrgen. On Wednesday, April 9, beginning at 12:30 p.m., \u201cGroup Reading Activity\u201d will take place on the Grass Area located between the Library and the Rectorate Building. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Finally on Friday, April 11, from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the Art Gallery of the Main Campus Library, Library Director Dr. Ebru Kaya will share key insights on open science and open access. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
