On March 26, the Tourism Education Evaluation and Accreditation Agency (TURAK), the sole Y\u00d6K-authorized agency to accredit tourism-related higher education programs in T\u00fcrkiye, awarded the Department of Tourism and Hotel Management (THM) a full six-year renewal of its existing accreditation. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The renewal process was nearly one year long and included the preparation of a detailed, over 300-page status report and a three-day on-site evaluation by TURAK team members. The successful completion of the accreditation renewal was marked by an official award-conferring ceremony at the Rector\u2019s office on March 26. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Headed by the Vice President of TURAK, \u0130brahim Birkan, TURAK\u2019s committee visited the university and met with Rector K\u00fcr\u015fat Aydo\u011fan, along with Faculty of Applied Sciences Dean Prof. H.
