Artun Saday, a master\u2019s student in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, earned a gold and a silver medal in the blue belt division at the Grappling Industries BJJ tournament held in Georgia on April 5. \u00d6mer Meri\u00e7 Erdem, a second-year Mechanical Engineering student, also stood out by winning a bronze medal in the white belt division. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Both athletes train at Mellivora BJJ Academy Bilkent with the support of their instructor, Ey\u00fcp Alp Ermi\u015f, who has been coaching at the academy and teaching Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) at the Physical Education and Sports Center for the past two years. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
