The IP Pioneers Project, which was created to ensure that university students gain knowledge about industrial property rights and to encourage the dissemination of intellectual property (IP) awareness among youth, has now completed its first phase. The project was developed in cooperation with the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office (T\u00dcRKPATENT) and the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), with contributions from the Industrial Property Advisory Units of 12 universities located in Ankara and the Turkish Ministry of National Education. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
As part of the project, Faculty of Law students Ay\u00e7a Akan and \u0130lke \u00d6zdemir participated in training sessions on patents, utility models, trademarks and designs, which were held by T\u00dcRKPATENT experts through the IP Academy. They then presented what they had learned to students at T\u00fcrk Telekom Mesleki ve Teknik Anadolu High School and Bat\u0131kent K\u0131z Mesleki ve Teknik Anadolu High School. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
