On Wednesday, October 1, the Faculty of Law hosted a conference titled \u201cData, Artificial Intelligence, and Law: Boundaries, Risks, Practices,\u201d organized in collaboration with the Personal Data Protection Authority (KVKK) and the Data Protection Association. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The conference began with opening remarks by Bora\u00a0Yaz\u0131c\u0131o\u011flu, President of the Data Protection Association; Rector Prof.\u00a0K\u00fcr\u015fat\u00a0Aydo\u011fan;\u00a0and Prof.\u00a0Faruk\u00a0Bilir, President of the Personal Data Protection Authority.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Throughout the day, legal experts, academics and students gathered at the C-Block Auditorium to explore the intersection of artificial intelligence (AI) and data protection law. The sessions focused on current issues in AI ethics and legal frameworks as well as developments in national and international data protection regulations.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
