The Department of Performing Arts premieres the first senior graduation project of the 2025\u201326 academic year: \u201cNo Exit,\u201d the influential existential drama by Jean-Paul Sartre, directed by Jason Hale, chair of the department.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The play follows three characters, Garcin, Inez and Estelle, who find themselves locked together in a room after death, with no escape and no<\/p>\n\n\n\n

relief from one another\u2019s presence. As they confront their pasts and struggle under each other\u2019s desires, judgments and confessions, they slowly realize that their torment is emotional rather than physical. This production highlights Sartre\u2019s enduring insight that \u201chell is other people,\u201d while exploring themes of identity, responsibility and the human search for meaning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The cast features senior acting students Elif Ekizo\u011flu, Burak Topta\u015f, \u0130rem Naz Alo\u011flu and junior student S. Yi\u011fit Metin. Jason Hale designed both the lighting and set for this production. Music was composed by M. \u00d6m\u00fcr Tuncer. The production team includes Assistant Director Haydar \u00d6zkan, lighting operation by Soner Togan, photographs and media relations by Ay\u00e7a Eren and technical assistance by Ak\u0131n \u00c7al\u0131\u015fkan and the student technical crew.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
