On November 25, 2025, a workshop titled \u201cCreating a New Discourse in Response to Hate Speech Against Foreigners\u201d was organized in collaboration between the IGAM (\u0130ltica ve G\u00f6\u00e7 ara\u015ft\u0131rmalar\u0131 Merkezi), Research Centre on Asylum and Migration and Bilkent University. The event was hosted by Bilkent University’s Faculty of Fine Arts, Design and Architecture. Prof. B\u00fclent \u00c7apl\u0131 and Assoc. Prof Emel \u00d6zdora from the Communication and Design Department and Assoc. Prof G\u00fcl\u00fcm \u00d6z\u00e7elik from the Faculty of Law attended the event. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Setting a strong example for university-civil society partnership, the workshop brought together representatives from public institutions working in this field, academics, communication experts and representatives from civil society.
