Teachers\u2019 Day is celebrated every year to recognize the invaluable contributions of teachers and to highlight their role in shaping future generations. In this context, the Faculty of Education organized a Teachers\u2019 Day event on November 28.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The opening remarks were delivered by Prof. Alipa\u015fa Ayas, Dean of the Faculty of Education. A panel titled \u201cReimagining Teacher Competencies in a Globalized Education Context\u201d followed the opening address.
The panel featured Dr. \u015eerife Demircio\u011flu, Deputy Director at Be\u015ftepe College; Ebru Hezen, Head of School and IB Schools Leader at Nesibe Ayd\u0131n Schools; and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Arma\u011fan Ate\u015fkan, Chair of the Department of Basic Education at Bilkent University. During the session, the panelists explored how teacher competencies can be redefined in response to the demands of an increasingly globalized education landscape and discussed the role of international education programs in shaping contemporary teaching practices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
