Bilkent University National Nanotechnology Research Center (UNAM) hosted the third national gathering of T\u00fcrkiye\u2019s zebrafish research community on November 29. The upcoming Zebrafish Workshop will bring together scientists who conduct research using the zebrafish model organism. Supported by the Zebrafish Research Association, this special event aims to strengthen knowledge exchange, collaboration and scientific interaction among researchers across T\u00fcrkiye by highlighting the powerful research opportunities offered by the zebrafish model.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The scientific committee of this year\u2019s workshop included Dr. Ay\u00e7a Arslan from UNAM\u2014known for her
work in developmental biology, neurodegenerative disease models, gene-editing technologies and live-imaging-based studies\u2014along with Prof. Dr. Pervin Din\u00e7er from Hacettepe University, Prof. Dr. G\u00fcne\u015f \u00d6zhan from \u0130zmir Institute of Technology and Asst. Prof. Fulya Yaylac\u0131o\u011flu Tuncay from the University of Health Sciences, G\u00fclhane Faculty of Medicine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The workshop featured presentations by Prof. Dr. \u00d6zlen Konu and Dr. Ilg\u0131m Ard\u0131\u00e7 Avc\u0131 from Bilkent University; Prof. Dr. Saltuk Bu\u011frahan Ceyhun from Atat\u00fcrk University; Prof. Dr. Stefan Fuss from Bo\u011fazi\u00e7i University; Asst. Prof. Adil Seytano\u011flu and Asst. Prof. Seniye Targen from Eastern Mediterranean University; Assoc. Prof. Dr. \u0130smail Uyan\u0131k and Instructor Ecem Kural Mang\u0131t from Hacettepe University; Prof. Dr. Murat \u00d6zmen from \u0130n\u00f6n\u00fc University Environmental Toxicology Laboratory; Asst. Prof. G\u00fcl\u00e7in \u00c7akan Akdo\u011fan from \u0130zmir Biomedicine and Genome Center; Asst.
