The Technology Transfer Office (TTO) participated in the National Patent Fair, held on November 27\u201328 by the University-Industry Collaboration Centers Platform (\u00dcS\u0130MP). The Bilkent TTO stand showcased six innovative technologies, four of which are protected by patents. The fair brought together TTOs from 27 leading universities in T\u00fcrkiye.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The technologies exhibited at the fair\u2014developed as a result of pioneering research by faculty members Assoc. Prof. Onur \u00d6zcan, Assoc. Prof. Onur Tokel, Assoc. Prof. Bilge Baytekin, Assoc. Prof. Erc\u00fcment \u00c7i\u00e7ek, Asst. Prof. Cihan Okay and Asst. Prof. Eda G\u00fcrel\u2014attracted significant interest from industrial organizations, universities and technology transfer institutions. The inventors accompanied the Bilkent TTO team during the promotion of these technologies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
By participating in the fair, Bilkent TTO contributed to strengthening a national culture of collaboration, co-creation, shared learning and design. It also supported the strengthening of academia\u2013industry cooperation, the dissemination of knowledge and experience related to technology transfer, and more effective implementation of policy, strategy and standardization efforts in this field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
