Dr. Talip Serkan Kas\u0131rga from the National Nanotechnology Research Center (UNAM) has been recognized by the Scientific and Technical Research Council of T\u00fcrkiye (T\u00dcB\u0130TAK). <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Dr. Kas\u0131rga received the T\u00dcB\u0130TAK Incentive Award 2025 for his outstanding research on phase transitions in low-dimensional systems. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The T\u00dcB\u0130TAK Incentive Award is given to scientists under the age of 40 who have demonstrated the potential to provide significant contributions to science at an international level. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Two Bilkent alumni also received awards from T\u00dcB\u0130TAK. Prof. Alper Kiraz (EE, 1998) received the T\u00dcB\u0130TAK Science Award for his research on light-based photonic and biomedical imaging technologies,  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

while Assoc. Prof. Safacan K\u00f6lemen (CHEM 2008, 2010; MSN 2014) received the T\u00dcB\u0130TAK Incentive Award for his work on light-activated therapeutic molecules and molecular sensors. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
