On Saturday, February 10, the Faculty of Law commemorated Ege Okant (LAW ’17), who passed away in Malatya during the earthquake of February 6, 2023. Ege was celebrated with deep love through the eyes and memories of her family and friends at the ceremony. Ege’s name and memory will be kept alive with an annual essay competition, organized by the Bilkent Human Rights Center, held for the first time this year. Deep gratitude is extended to her family and friends for agreeing to organize this event together with the Bilkent Faculty of Law.
