Between April 1–8, 2024, the show consisting of “Distinguished Works” by the Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design (IAED) students exhibited at the FADA FF Building.
The display consisted of 2023-24 fall semester projects created by the students of all levels of the IAED program.
All the projects were displayed as posters that stated the ideas, motivation and technical work that is involved in the three-dimensional models and presentations.
Another vibrant component of the exhibition was the group of conceptual three-dimensional abstract models of Basic Design, which extended the scope of the exhibition from a focus on technical aspects to a look into a non-representational way of thinking.
The exhibition was a great opportunity for visitors to trace the development of the İ.D. Bilkent University IAED students. The presentations and models represented different themes and the ideas were embodied in a variety of outputs from drawings and sketches to models and computerised three-dimensional screenings. The great range of conceptual ideas, styles and perspectives on display showed the skills and capabilities of the students as developed by the IAED department’s educational program.
