The Faculty of Law Vis Moot team has achieved remarkable success at the 33rd Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot. The Vis Moot is one of the world’s most prestigious international arbitration competitions, bringing together law students from across the globe to compete in simulated commercial dispute proceedings. Competing against law schools from around the world, the team advanced to Round 32, placing among the top 8% globally.
The team received an Honorable Mention in the Eric E. Bergsten Award, placing it among the top performing teams in the competition.
In addition to the team’s performance, acknowledgment goes to the efforts and dedication of students Doğa Çetiner, İnci Sevi Kaya, Mahmut Berat Karagöz and İlke Özdemir, coached by Prof. Bilgin Tiryakioğlu, Prof. Başak Baysal, Elif Gökçen Toksoy and Zeynep Begüm Gökçek.
