Bilkent Library took part in the Erasmus+ KA210 project, “Empowering Information Professionals: Digital Transformation through Collaboration between Türkiye, Norway and North Macedonia,” coordinated by the University and Research Librarians’ Association (ÜNAK).
The first international meeting of the project was held in Tetovo, North Macedonia, between April 20 and 25, 2026. The event, titled “Innovative Approaches in Digital Librarianship: Workshop and Experience Sharing,” was hosted by South East European University.
Bilkent librarian, Taner Korkmaz, participated in the event and delivered a presentation titled “Institutional Repositories as Research Infrastructure: AI Integration, FAIR Architecture and Security (The Bilkent University Experience).” In his presentation, Korkmaz shared Bilkent University Library’s experiences with the international library community in developing and managing institutional repositories.
