The traditional Alumni Homecoming, organized by the Career and Alumni Office, will take place on Sunday, September 20. The annual gathering gives graduates an opportunity to reconnect with former classmates and faculty members, network and discuss ways to support the university. Following last year’s turnout of nearly 7,000 alumni, the event will open with a presentation by Rector Orhan Aytür at the Faculty of Music and Performing Arts. A full day of live performances, children’s activities and a lottery draw will follow. The program also includes the Commemorative Medal Presentation Ceremony, introduced last year, honoring alumni from the Classes of 1991, 1996, 2001, 2006, 2011, 2016 and 2021.
