Nefise Abalı, a 2011 MA graduate of the Department of Turkish Language and Literature, has published her new book, “Havva’nın Düşü.” Ms. Abalı is currently working as a lecturer in the Turkish Unit at Bilkent.
A collection of short stories, the book focuses on a woman’s account of growing up and the struggles she faces from generation to generation in order to survive. Across the stories, the reader follows a narrator who talks about the troubles of the world by associating them with women’s tales and myths.
