Dr. Ceren Gürdere, Clinical Psychologist at the Psychological Counseling and Development Center, and Beata Zalewska, Artist in Residence at the Department of Fine Arts, are offering art therapy classes for students affected by the recent earthquakes in South-eastern Turkey. The goal of the classes is to provide psychotherapeutic assistance to those personally affected by the earthquakes, using artistic techniques to process trauma related experiences, emotions, feelings and cognitions. Participants can expect to take part in drawing, acrylic painting and collage during the process. Bilkent Holding and Meteksan Bookstore are supporting the classes by providing all the necessary art materials.
Twenty participants will be randomly selected from the applicants. Students can email to pdgm@bilkent.edu.tr to request an application form.

Places: FB-320 and FC-223
GE points: 100 GE points will be given to participants who attend all five sessions. Those attending four sessions will earn 80 points. Participants who attend at least three sessions will receive 60 points.
