The first week of the 18th Angora Cup Interuniversities Sports Festival, organized by the Physical Education and Sports Center, is now complete.
Approximately 300 students from a number of universities, including Atılım, Başkent, Bilkent, Boğaziçi, Çankaya, Hacettepe, METU, İTÜ, TEDU, Kadir Has, Pamukkale, Yeditepe and Mehmet Akif Ersoy, participated in this special event. They competed to win the Angora Cup in badminton, table tennis, women’s football, water polo and squash.
Bilkent athletes did well in the tournament, winning some events and taking second or third place in others. The teams/individuals who finished at the top of the standings in each sport are listed below.
