What do you like best about Turkey?
I like the friendly and hospitable people of Turkey.
Are there any similarities between Turkey and your home country?
Yes, the culture and the language are really similar, and when I came to Turkey, I didn’t feel isolated or strange, which is excellent.
What will you miss most about Bilkent/Turkey?
I will miss the perfect weather of Ankara and the majestic sea view in İstanbul.
What’s your favorite place on campus, and why?
The view right in front of Bilka as it is massive and makes me feel better whenever I look at it. Its green textures fill me with calm emotions.
What’s your favorite Turkish food and/or favorite part of Turkish culture?
Obviously, İskender kebab. It is too delicious.
Where do you expect to see yourself 10 years from now?
I don’t even think about the next second of my life and believe it’s essential to work hard. I hope to learn several languages so I can work worldwide.
What’s the hardest challenge you’ve handled in Turkey?
Getting accustomed to the university’s academic and social life.
What places have you visited in Turkey, and which one is your favorite?
İstanbul is my favorite. I want to travel around Turkey more since I couldn’t do so earlier because of Covid.
