Dream, Define, Design Resilient Futures

The Department of Architecture participated in and hosted one section of the four-day event, “Dream, Define, Design Resilient Futures.” The event, organized by AnkaraAks in cooperation with the EU Information Centers, took place in Ankara on October 9–12. The event aimed to raise awareness about the resilient environment, supporting life-cycle thinking and sustainable approaches, and brought together students from 19 cities in Turkey. ARCH alumni and students participated in this event by creating new materials out of plastic waste in the ARCH studios and FabLab. A seminar and exhibition were held to demonstrate the capacities of the newly formed material at the FADA Exhibition Hall, with the participation of Rector Kürşat Aydoğan.
