The cats on campus
What’s your favorite place on campus, and why?
The music rooms, because I can be alone or with friends playing music. Also, the grass in front of Bilka, because of the views, and because it it feels calm.
What’s your favorite Turkish food and/or favorite part of Turkish culture?
I love kebab and dürüm, but I’ve also discovered gözlemes, and they are great. My favorite part of the culture is the çay.
Where do you expect to see yourself 10 years from now?
Coordinating a developing project in the Middle East.
What’s the hardest challenge you’ve handled in Turkey?
Learning the language
What places have you visited in Turkey, and which one is your favorite?
I’ve only visited Amasra, but I loved the water and the people.
What’s an interesting question or comment you hear frequently at Bilkent/in Turkey?
Yamyam, it sounds funny.
