Unam Assoc. Prof. Engin Durgun, project investigator at Bilkent University National Nanotechnology Research Center (UNAM) and faculty member of the Materials Science and Nanotechnology (MSN) Program, was elected as an Associate Member in the Turkish Academy of Sciences (TÜBA).
Following the election, which was based on recommendations by current academy members, TÜBA President Prof. Muzaffer Şeker congratulated the newly elected academy members and stated, “I believe that we will forge significant collaborations with our scientists who have made unquestionable contributions to science both nationally and internationally.”
