How often do you exercise?
I exercise as much as I can, at least twice a week.
How has regular exercise affected your life?
Exercising helps me cope with anxiety and relieves stress. It takes my mind off of academic pressures.
What do you suggest to those who are just taking up a sport or starting to exercise?
I would say that no matter how little exercise or activity is done, consistency is the key.
What are the first three things that come to mind when you hear the word “sports”?
Sweat, rush, relief
Which Bilkent sports facilities do you use?
I have spent countless hours at the squash courts, most of my spring evenings in the outside skating area and an hour daily at the dormitories’ gym.
Have you taken any courses or participated in any activities?
I haven’t participated in any sports events yet, but I’m planning to take some courses this semester, hopefully.
