The Sporting Life

How often do you exercise? 

Almost every day, as long as I am healthy.  

How has regular exercise affected your life?  

Exercise and sports have affected my life in a very positive way. Being strong mentally is a priority for me, and an active body assists me in reaching that goal.  

What do you suggest to those who are just taking up a sport or starting to exercise?  

I would suggest that they need to push themselves really hard at the beginning so as to not quit early. Then they will start to experience the benefits of sports as a routine. 

What are the first three things that come to mind when you hear the word “sports”? 

Basketball, passion, mentality  

Which Bilkent sports facilities do you use?  

I use the dormitories sports hall, football fields and the stadium in the main campus regularly. 

Have you taken any courses or participated in any activities?  

I have not yet attended any courses, but every semester I participate in the basketball tournaments, both the 3×3 and 5×5.
