Mehmet Umur Somel, a second-year student at the Faculty of Law, has been granted admission to the esteemed World Press Federation (WPF). Headquartered in England, the WPF serves as the global representative body for press professionals. With a mission to enhance the living standards and working conditions of press members worldwide, the diligent efforts of WPF members resonate as a pivotal voice within the realms of press and journalism.
Somel states that he had many motivations to apply to the WPF and believes that in today’s context, every task should be done professionally.
He thinks that this can only be achieved through collaboration with an international press agency. This way, he believes he can publish his projects not only in Turkey but also in Europe.
